Link Communications, Inc. introduces the latest option to the Tactical Communications Bridge (TCB) product line—TICS. TICS stands for Total Interoperability Control System, and gives the user maximum access to the TCB’s features and flexibility. This option puts all system control at a user’s fingertips.
TICS can be integrated into any TCB package or radio solutions package.
The TICS option has three variants. The basic “Platform” contains the hardware necessary to integrate the system into a package. This variant provides the user with a fully functional control surface and network solution. The Platform uses the reputable TCB Remote Control Interface (RCI) to control detailed functions of the TCB. The Platform is housed in the Tactical package itself, The “Server” consists of the VoIP integration platform. The server is simply software that enables ports on the TCB units to communicate with IP based hardware or software such as IP phones and computer softphones. The “Solution” consists of a combination of the “Platform” and “Server” options, providing a full hardware and software package, ready to integrate into TCB packages.
